I will post ideas on here for some play based activities. Please remember that a lot of the EYFS curriculum is based around play and practical learning.

This week our maths story is How many legs? This is based around counting the amount of legs of different animals. Can you count the people and pets in your house and work out how many legs there are altogether. Draw a picture of the people or animal to show how many legs they have

Find some pictures of different animals. Add together the number of legs they have. Draw the animals you have chosen.

What did they eat?
How big were they?
Describe what they looked like?

Can you use your construction toys to build a pen for an animal to live in?
