The Studio
The Studio is a creative space used by our Digital Leaders and young filmmakers to write scripts, shoot and edit their own movies or media content. We have lighting stands and a green screen installed into the space so that the students can transport themselves anywhere in the world when making their films. We hope to develop our students’ interest in film-making so that they have the knowledge and skills to work in a media-rich world.
Our studio space is also used for ukulele and piano lessons. We nurture our students’ passion for music and let them try a variety of musical instruments. The Firbeck Ukulele Band meets every Thursday lunchtime to learn new chords and strumming patterns and to play new songs together.
