Applying for a place in Firbeck Academy
We work closely with Nottingham City Council to coordinate admissions to Firbeck Academy. If you want your child to come to this academy then you should still apply through the City Council using their online form or by asking them for a paper form for you to complete (see hyperlink below). Please contact us directly if you would like to arrange a visit to the school before you make your decision.
Applying for a place in our Nursery
If you would like to apply for a place in our nursery (F1) please pick up an application form from the school office.
Pupils who attend our nursery are not guaranteed to receive a place in the main school when it is time for them to move into F2 (Reception), the academy's Admission Policy will be applied at this time. All applications for a place in the main school should be made through the Local Authority at: www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/schooladmissions
Focus Provision Admissions
Admission arrangements are the responsibility of the Local Authority (LA) in consultation with parents/carers and the Head of School, subject to the schools ability to meet the needs of the child and the availability of places. All pupils in the Focus Provision have an Education Health Care Plan. Pupils are admitted on the basis that their language levels are significantly delayed.
